Abstract

The article analyzes the materials from excavations of the settlement of Ust-Kadada 1. Refers to Neolithic ceramics decorated with pricked over, with incised lines and impressions of the gear stamp. It is not usual for the river basin of the Sura and is similar among the villages of the Middle Volga. This is probably the result of contacts. Belongs to the Eneolithic ceramics with an admixture of organic matter. It is close to ceramics Altatinskya culture. Items of silicon are connected to the settlement with the Neolithic, and from the quartzite – copper age.
