Abstract
This article presents the analysis of the civil construction industry in the Russian Federation, indicators that give information about the status of housing construction in Russia today are considered. Comparison of indicators such as the number of construction companies in Russia, the ratio of total floor area unfinished houses to the annual commissioning of housing, distribution of workload between construction organizations depending on their legal form, gave a capacious assessment to a situation in the sphere of civil construction.
