LINGUISTIC AND COGNITIVE SEARCH OF ADJECTIVES, DENOTING THE GROWTH OF THE HUMAN BODY (IN ENGLISH, RUSSIAN AND BASHKIR LANGUAGES)

The article is devoted to comparative analysis of semantics and functioning of some English, Russian and Bashkir adjectives indicating the growth of the human body.Basing on the analysis of words denoting the height of a man, were identified similarities and differences of the use of these adjectives in English, Bashkir and Russian languages.Based on the study found to be more represented in the language is a subclass of lexemes that describe the deviation of the growth of the human body from an average, ordinary, and less represented is a subclass of lexemes with the designation medium, normal build.
