PURIFICATION THE AQUEOUS MEDIA FROM HEAVY METAL IONS BY MODIFIED WOOL KERATIN

The results of the study of the sorption process of Cu(II) ions by wool fibers, modified by acrylic acid are presented. Sorption equilibrium time in the system "water solution of copper salt - wool fibers" was 75 minutes. Sorption isotherm of Cu(II) ions was treated in framework of Langmuir model. The received experimental data allow to recommend the use of the sorbent for heavy metal ions sorption from aqueous solutions having different nature.
