The text chosen for the conference in accordance with the theme "Philosophical aspects of old age." In today's world, the proportion of elderly people is gradually increasing in the population, such tendencies are characteristic for our country. In these circumstances, social care for the elderly focused mainly on the poor and lonely, received a new impetus to the development. Relevance of the work due to the need to enhance social support for older people, especially the most vulnerable. Aspects covered in the article: a) what is the old age; b) the dignity of old age; c) the negative aspects of aging; g) the importance of the problem.
