Abstract
The article investigates the nature of crowdsourcing as a means of mobilizing resources through information technology to solve real business problems. Analyzed the main differences between crowdsourcing and outsourcing, the advantages of this technology for the companies in a wide spread of information technology. Examples of the most popular crowdplatformas in the broad and in Russia, the successful examples of using the crowdsourcing technologies in Russian companies.
