FEATURES OF THE LEGAL CONSOLIDATION OF STATISTICAL COMMITTEES IN WESTERN SIBERIA IN THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

In the article, the legal consolidation of statistical committees in pre-revolutionary Russia on the basis of Western Siberia materials of the first half of the XIX century is considered. By the mid-1930s, in the 19th century, all necessary conditions for the organization of a regional statistical system were created in the state. According to the "Regulations" of 1834, Statistical and economic data on the provinces were assigned to the members of the committee, who were regular employees. A new stage in the development of statistical committees was determined by the Provisions on Provincial and Regional Statistical Committees in 1860. Indispensable, valid and honorary members were identified.
