THE CLASSIFICATION OF THE POWERS OF THE PROSECUTOR AT THE PRETRIAL STAGE

The article is devoted to the investigation of the powers of the prosecutor at pre-trial stages of criminal proceedings. Attention is drawn to the fact that pre-trial proceedings are aimed at verifying the legality and validity of decisions made by preliminary investigation bodies on the further fate of the criminal case: transferring it to the next stage of the criminal proceedings or to stop the criminal proceedings altogether. Various classifications of powers of the public prosecutor at a stage of pre-trial manufacture on criminal case are resulted with a view of revealing a variety of their expressions.
