Abstract
The basic genre signs of a sonnet, a wreath of sonnets are considered in the article. Features of development and reception of forms of a sonnet and a wreath of sonnets in the Mordovian poetry are described in this article. The ideologically-art originality of the given genre in a context of development of national poetry is identified in the article. Literary- folklore interactions of these poetic forms are defined. Features of poetics of analyzed texts are considered in the article.
