Abstract
In this article, two interpretations of the notion of risk capital are examined. Some advantages of this situation have been analyzed both in one and in the other case. The necessity of the availability and use of this resource has been identified and justified. In addition, the significance of the risk-border (risk-limit) of the investment portfolio in the modern organization is argued.
