ROLE OF THE VERBAL INFLUENCE IN MASS HOLIDAYS

The article deals with the use of manipulative rhetoric in relation to the phenomenon of a mass holiday. The forms of celebratory activity in which similar speech actions are used are specified. In the science of rhetoric, an equivalent has been found that is suitable for this kind of verbal action. Specific examples of the manifestation of agonal communication in the Day of National Unity are considered, as well as theoretical conclusions concerning the use of speech technologies in public holidays are made.
