NUCLEAR POWER IN FRANCE

Today, the main source of electricity generation in France is nuclear power. Therefore, it is relevant and necessary to tackle the issue of the reduction of nuclear power in the French overall energy balance and the development of renewable sources. A quick decommissioning process of nuclear power seems unavoidable considering the risk of major accidents, as many nuclear power plants have almost exhausted their lifetime.
