Abstract
A power supply system for cars equipped with gas-cylinder equipment operating on liquefied natural gas is given. When the internal combustion engine (ICE) was working on gasoline, the following indices for atmospheric pollution were obtained: lead and SO compounds are present, CO and unburned hydrocarbons are the standard content. When the internal combustion engines operate in the CIS, lead compounds are absent, SO is practically absent, the content of CO and unburned hydrocarbons is lower by 80 and 70%. In cars that are converted to gas fuel, there are a number of advantages, which include: - reducing the overall toxicity of exhaust gas combustion by 1.5-2 times; - translation of ICE to gas is not associated with a complex constructive redesign of systems to control the operating modes of ICE; - relatively small, compared with gasoline, the price of gas fuel; - a more significant content in the gas of hydrogen gives a more complete combustion of hydrogen, which leads to a reduction of carbon formation on candles and a reduction of tarry deposits.
