ON THE SYMBOLISM OF THE SWASTIKA

In the article an attempt is made to find the objective meaning of the swastika symbol bypassing the set of particular cultural and historical values. This involves working with the symbol itself, not with its interpretations. It shows the dialectic nature of the swastika, the synthesis in its symbolism of the categories of movement and rest, variability and invariability, time and eternity, center and periphery, unity and plurality, being and becoming, spirit and matter, hierarchy and piety. The definition of swastika as an embodied world order is formulated.
