Abstract
Today, the developments on a global scale , has led to the Western world to reconsider the basic premise that they have offered the humanity. The world, ever since the Enlightenment, is under the rule of a new paradigm which is old as content but new as form. This new paradigm stands with the German sociologist Ulrich Beck's definition: "world risk society". How will we behave towards a new paradigmatic change occurring in the world and beginning to dominate? How to overcome the chaos that is being experienced in the world risk society? Is it possible to live peacefully in a cosmopolitan universe? We would like to discuss risk probabilities, social individualization and the attitude of tradition towards these new forms of social life on the example of Muslim scholar Mavlana Jalaluddin Rumi by following the traces of "peace sociology".
