PARASITISM: THE EXPERIENCE OF THE PAST AND THE PROBLEM OF THE PRESENT

Now in the Russian Federation, the so-called "parasitism" is not a crime, but in the Soviet period of our history, a deviation from socially useful labor was a crime. In this article, the phenomenon of parasitism is considered in its retrospective. The legal basis of public parasitism in the USSR has been analyzed, a sociological survey among people of different generations has been conducted with the aim of diagnosing the attitude to the parasitic way of life at the present stage.
