Youth`s innovation potential as a factor of influence on the region`s economy

After analyzing the current situation with youth in the Irkutsk region and examining statistical data, the authors speak about the importance of studying innovation potential and its development among youth. The article proposed a possible solution to the problem of innovativeness of the regional economy through the development of required competencies among the young people.
