Abstract
Water an important component used in the concrete preparation. It plays an important role in handling workability of concrete and has its own property. In this project property of the water is changed by inducing the water through a magnetic field. The physical change in water due to magnetic field causes the increasing strength to the concrete. The magnetically treated water name magnetized water is used in the concrete. Magnetic water is the new technology initially had a birth in the Russia and China for the agricultural and other medical values for animals in activating the metabolic activity and now it stretches its application in construction industry . The surface tension of the water decreases due to the magnetic action on water and this water is used in concrete. This water helps to increase the performance of the concrete without adding any chemical. The compressive, tensile and flexural strength of concrete gives the positive increasing result by using magnetic water in concrete. The power of the magnetic flux used is 6000 gauss power. This project aim in studying the behavior of normal and Magnetic water and their application in the concrete strength.
