Abstract
A study of existing scientific achievements in terms of formalizing the principles of management in an enterprise has allowed them to be united in the field of establishment on the principles of management, ensuring the competitiveness of the enterprise and capacity. The author proposes to formalize the principles of ensuring the efficiency of management in transport enterprises in accordance with the peculiarities of the processes of forming, building up and implementation of the competitiveness potential. The formalization of the principles should be in line with the direction of developing the competitiveness potential; to co-ordinate the conditions of increasing the cost and profitability of internal components with the conditions of realization of competitive advantages in the external environment; Ensure the adaptability and flexibility of implementing the competitiveness potential. In order to ensure the effective management of the competitiveness potential, it is necessary to adhere to the key principle that will allow maintaining the transit potential of the country, international communications and ensuring the harmonious development of all modes of transport.
