Abstract
ABSTARCT Identity-Based Cryptosystem was initiated with an aim of simplifying the key management technique but undergoes some inherent drawbacks, called key escrow problem. Moreover, it requires a secure channel at the time of private issuance by the Key Generation Centre (KGC). In our paper, we propose an identity-based signature scheme which neither has the key escrow problem nor requires a secure channel between the user and the KGC.
