THE PHARMACEUTICAL CHEMISTRY OLYMPIAD AS THE STAGE IN THE FORMATION OF PROFESSIONAL SELFAWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS

As the study of pharmaceutical chemistry begins on the 3rd year (the 5th term) and ends on the 5th year (the 9th term) with the exam, the Olympiad among the 5th year students of the pharmaceutical faculty was carried out. The selection of participants was executed by the testing for the disciplinematerial. The total list of test tasks consisted of 570 questions. Students were admitted to the Olympiad, scored at least 70% correct answers, which accounted for 55% of the 5th year students. The Olympiad improves the level of personality self-consciousness; it stimulates participants to selfdevelopment and self-education within the chosen specialty.
