Abstract
According to the literature from women using intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUD) to the uterine mucosa are identified : fibrous changes - 1.5-6% , "inflammatory infiltrates" in 7 to 27%, atrophic areas of 0.1% and 2.7% in the regions of contact with the IUD. Diagnosis of chronic inflammation of the mucous membrane of the uterus increases with the presence of the IUD in the uterus more than 5 years.
