Abstract
This article is devoted to the analysis of some linguistic characteristics of the terms of modern methods of teaching a foreign language. The object of study in this article is the terminology of the Russian language, with the study of various definitions used in the methodology of teaching foreign languages. The main goal is to identify the semantic features of terms, since it is impossible to develop a methodology without imagining the material with which the teacher will work.
