The research reflects the perspectives of HR Managers' working for 57 large-sized enterprises operating in various branches of different industries. The data was collected via structured interviews. It can be said that almost all of the large-sized enterprises have a department of HR and a rising awareness of Human Resource Management (HRM) is being formed in most of them. These enterprises have mostly utilized scientific methods in HRM. Even if it is difficult to say that there are differences among the industries; large-sized enterprises, operating at international level, are preceding the others in functional implementations of HR. If a general assessment has to be done for HR functions, it can be said that employee training and performance evaluation is more comprehensive due to content and implementation, and has been given importance to in almost all of the companies. Employee procurement, pay management, employee health and safety, and employee planning are relatively being handled within a narrower content. The most open functions to top management intervention are firstly pay management and then employee procurement.
