Abstract
Bodies of preliminary investigation play an important role in identification, disclosure and investigation of crimes. In the present article the basic provisions of the legislation devoted to bodies of preliminary investigation are considered and attempt of identification of problems of legal status of bodies of preliminary investigation becomes.
