Abstract
The article considers and assesses the current situation on dust control at coal terminals. The methods and means used to control dustiness are considered and their analysis is carried out. It is established that existing measures to achieve environmentally safe status are not enough. The ways to solve the problem are suggested. As the main technical solution, a comprehensive approach including a means for controlling the concentration of dust in the air with real-time data output to the dispatcher's console and dust control means presented by a pneumatic hydroshock system using compressed air energy and chemical additives to improve irrigation efficiency was used. Selection and development of this method of dust control due to the need to reduce consumption for irrigation and ensuring optimum for dust fine water mist. Monitoring of the efficiency of the system of pneumatic hydraulic irrigation is also carried out on the dispatcher's console. The article proves the universality of the system of pneumohydraulic irrigation and the possibility of its application is not only at coal terminals, but also wherever it is necessary to carry out anti-dust measures.
