Abstract
Chondroid syrigoma is a slow growing benign adnexal tumor. Histologically it is similar to pleomorphic adenoma of salivary gland and malignant transformation is uncommon. Ossification with marrow elements is a very rare feature. This report presents a chondroid syringoma with extensive ossified marrow elements in a 58 year old man. Extensive search through the literature showed only few cases. This case is presented for its rarity and diagnostic difficulty.
