Abstract
The work carried out survey and analysis the methods for determining the carrying capacity of the drive roller and sleeve, and traction plate chains. Existing expressions for determining allowable effort and double-row chain drives. Reported features of probability calculation in terms of effort, transmitted single-stranded and multi-planimetric transfers, multi-equipped with the drive roller chains. Suggested methods for determining the bearing capacity of drive and traction chains, based on dimensional stochastic parameters of their contact details and steps of internal and external links
