Abstract

About 500 caudal anesthesias are performed in the children's surgical clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University. In this study, we performed a comparative analysis between ropivacainum and bupivacainum in caudal anesthesia in 152 patients at minor surgeries. And we came to the conclusion that caudal injection of 0.75 % ropivacainum provides fast, long-lasting, well-predicted sensory and motor block. Caudal anesthesia with ropivacainum is safe high-quality anesthetic with the possibility of early activation of patient.
