Abstract

“Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS)” is the term, which describes the typical complaints of the patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia, chronic prostatitis and bladder dysfunction. LUTS include increased micturition, nocturia, slow urine stream etc. Analysis of the literature, devoted to LUTS, gives an opportunity to make the conclusion that ischemic processes in pelvic organs are one of the main reasons of LUTS. In this context, the relevant doctor's objective is to be able to deal with the mechanisms, which lead to the pelvic ischemia in concrete patient. The key element of therapeutic work is the ability of the doctor to describe the difficulty, complexity and individuality of the system of oxygen supply in every patient. We developed the information material to such patients, which helps to solve this problem.
