Abstract
In this paper, influence of geometric asymmetry of electrical contacts and thermal loads asymmetry on precision of contact spot temperatures calculation by Holm-Kohlraush relation (also known as voltage-temperature relation) is considered. Limits of applicability for this relation were defined for “cylinder-cylinder” type of electrical contacts.
