Abstract
The purpose of the article is to examine innovate teaching methods and the effectiveness of training sessions in education of family physicians, medical assistants and nurses. According to the results the initial level of knowledge towards current topic among medical workers is less than average level. Training as a practical method of family doctors', medical assistants' and nurses' education gives almost 100% result of information assimilation. Taking into consideration primary health care system in Ukraine developmental dynamics, based on the principles of Family Medicine, it is necessary to implement the innovative teaching methods, in particular hybrid (hybrid) learning. The notion “hybrid learning” is commonly used nowadays to describe the combination of online learning, traditional and self-learning. According to world data on the various forms of learning effectiveness, classical lecture presentations have the lowest percentage of assimilation, namely 5%; the most effective are individual learning (90%) and practical actions (75%). Training is a form of group work, which ensures active participation and creative interaction of participants among themselves and the teacher. Conducting training for FD's significantly differs from the lectures format, seminars and practical classes accepted at higher educational institutions and can increase the efficiency of presentation and mastering of practical knowledge by GPs doctors. As a form of pedagogical influence training primarily involves the use of active methods of group work: "brainstorming", work in small groups, demonstration, situational tasks, role games, feedback. Innovative methods of active learning are used to train and develop creative thinking, to develop required practical skills and competences. Training is a carefully planned process of providing or refreshing knowledge, working out skills and abilities, changing or updating certain attitudes and beliefs. Training "Improving health at the service of people in the Transcarpathian region" organized by the World Bank project for doctors, medical assistants and nurses called "Evidence-based steps for the prevention, screening and management of cardiovascular risks in practice of a family doctor" can be a good example of teaching and methodical work of the training center. In order to evaluate the effectiveness of trainings and assess the level of knowledge of family physicians and nurses of Transcarpathian region, we conducted in-and out-testing. MCQ's included 20 questions that were relevant to the training topic, had 4 answers and only one was correct.
