Abstract
Addisons disease is a rare endocrine disease. Although disturbances in mood, motivation and behavior are noted frequently in this disease, psychosis occurs rarely, but can occur during adrenal crisis. We report a case in which recurrent psychosis occurred during episodic Addisonian crisis. The psychiatric manifestations in Addisons disease have received little or no attention. The clinicians must be aware that Addisons disease may present solely with psychosis during life threatening Addisonian crisis.
