Abstract
Infectious pyomyositis is an acute, sub-acute, or chronic infection of skeletal muscle. In tropical countries, it is known as 'Tropical Pyomyositis'. It is caused by bacterial, viral, mycobacterial, parasitic and fungal infections. Here we report a case of pyomyositis presenting as deep vein thrombosis and septic arthritis.
