Abstract

In the modern era, the advancement and digitalization in technology have taken place during an investigation of crime scene. The rapid enhancement and investigative techniques has changed the mean of identification of suspect. Fingerprints, which are considered one of the best features of personal identification, are frequently encountered in distinct forms at scene of occurrence. The prints, which are encountered, are obtained in fractional form yield information of other involvement and in many conditions. If the prints are encountered in latent form in that case, intensification will take place and later on examination process are adopted. This study was conducted on the basis of the quadrant of lateral fingerprint's ridge density and minutiae details. For this study both type of fingerprints, intensified prints as well as lateral prints were studied. The highly significant result at p<0.50 of gender discrimination in the fingerprint. The described format of significance level at 95% of confidence level. By studying these details, we successfully conclude that feminine inequity can be done which could be helpful the investigation procedure and can be put on the par above of all evidences.
