Abstract
In this paper, we introduce the concept of complement for two or more numbers, both real and complex ones. The basic properties of complements are considered, and the certain complement for the numbers π and e is demonstrated with its properties. It is shown that the equations, whose roots are the golden ratio φ, the silver ratio δ_s and the plastic constant, can be obtained using the concept of complement for two real numbers. Also, the author observes the Riemann hypothesis in the aspect of the theory of complements
