Abstract
ABSTRACT Performance evaluation of five commonly used edge detectors (Sobel's, Roberts's, Prewitt's, Laplacian of Gaussian and Canny) has been done for detection of circular objects. Circular Hough Transform is being used for recognizing the detected circles.This study provides the basis for further shape-based object detection.
