Abstract
In the course of the work, the work of the leak detection system on oil trunk pipelines was analyzed, the methods of their detection were investigated, the advantages and disadvantages were revealed. The optimum parameters of the system are also determined. As a result, the necessity of developing normative methods and the base itself is substantiated.
