ASSESSMENT OF USE OF CALIBRATION OF THE FUEL HARDWARE OF DIESEL ENGINES

The article substantiates the use of the calibration of fuel hardware in the process of its repair. Precision details of fuel hardware require a high technological culture of repair. Stability of fuel supply parameters is determined by the identity of the hydraulic characteristics of fuel pumps and it depends on the methods and means of their setting. As a result of test 3 models of fuel pumps it is established that the technical parameters have enough all wide ranges of dispersal and on average 42% of pumps do not provide normative indicators. System of calibration ensures the unity of the measurements and the accuracy of the adjustment of the parameters of the fuel hardware during repair, as well checking the accuracy of the readings of the adjusting equipment.
