BENCHMARKING OF MUNICIPAL SERVICES

This article reflects on the need to apply the benchmarking process for the development of small and medium-sized businesses at the municipal level. It discusses the experience of foreign countries in comparison with the Russian practice, and considers the sources of information for benchmarking of municipalities. The conclusion presents the proposals and recommendations that can be applied in the development of targeted regional and municipal programs for support and development of small and medium-sized businesses.
