Abstract
The results of an experimental study of the effect of C60 fullerene impurities on the saturated vapor pressure and surface tension of R600a / mineral oil solutions are presented. Studies were carried out in the temperatures range 283-353 K, at oil concentrations in the solution of 0.25; 0.5; 0.75 kg / kg and fullerenes in oil 2·10-3 kg / kg. It is shown that the impurities of fullerenes in refrigerant / oil solutions contribute to the reduction of surface tension. This effect should be taken into account in assessing the prospects for the use of nanotechnology in refrigeration equipment.
