Abstract
In the article the process of drying of bulk material in the installation of the "boiling" layer, working on alternative energy sources, and more specifically, on biogas is analyzed. The material balance of the installation is calculated, a detailed calculation algorithm is given. The essence of mass-exchange processes is described, the diffusion rate is calculated. The essence of mass transfer process is explained. And it also determines the amount of air needed to dry bulk materials, in the ascending stream of combustion products.
