Abstract
The paper reveals the problem associated with accidents on trunk pipelines, the main reasons for their occurrence are discussed. Distressed consequences are described, and measures are provided to prevent accidents and reduce accidents in the oil and gas sector, in particular in the transportation of hydrocarbon raw materials.
