BENCHMARKING MUNICIPAL SERVICES

The article describes the concept of benchmarking, its basic forms and types, a review of statistical data the use of benchmarking on the example of analysis of services provided by public bodies of the municipality of Chelyabinsk region. It is studied also the problems of the using of benchmarking in Russia and foreign experience of the practices. There are given the solutions to the problems of implementation of benchmarking in the system of providing municipal services, recommendations for improvement of activities of Executive authorities of constituent entities of the Russian Federation on the basis of statistical data of sociological research the use of benchmarking.
