Abstract

Concrete being the most widely recognized material, engineers are always investigating the cut off points to improve its performance & to ensure the health and quality of a structure after a certain period of its lifetime. Addition of Nano materials in concrete has created a revolution in this modern era. Nano materials like Nano silica, Nano alumina, carbon nano tubes, Nano titanium, etc are presently used to modify the overall strength properties in structural elements. This review researches the impact of Nano silica and Nano alumina on mechanical properties, for example, compressive, split malleable and flexure quality of M40 review of cement with upgraded rates of NS and NA (1%, 1.5%, 2%, 2.5%) as incomplete substitution of concrete.. It is found that mechanical properties are enhancing the expansion of Nano silica and Nano alumina. It is presumed that the blend containing 2% of Nano silica gives the coveted qualities for different quality properties and demonstrates a higher quality contrasted with Nano alumina.
