Abstract
In this investigation an experimental programme was carried out to study the effect of addition of fly ash as partial replacement of Portland Pozzolana cement (PPC) and plastic waste as partial replacement of fine aggregate in rigid pavement. The replacement level of PPC was 10% however replacement levels of fine aggregate 2%, 4%, 6%, 8% and 10%. Properties studies work density, workability and compressive strength. Results showed that with 10% fly ash (as partial replacement of PPC), fine aggregate can be replaced up to 4% with plastic waste without much compromising compressive strength.
