Study Causes Of Repeated Abortion In Pregnant Women In Karbala City

Abstract
Objective: The aim of the current study is to determine of causes of repeated abortion. Methods: During this study of causal agent of repeated abortion in pregnant women in Karbala city , 150 sample was taken from pregnant women with history of repeated abortion and study five causes of repeated abortion cytomegalo virus (CMV) , rubella virus, toxoplasmosis, antiphospholipid (APL), and anticardiolipin (ACL). Results: The result show most effected agent for repeated abortion CMV 67% ,then rubella 53%, follow toxoplasmosis 30% , and then less by ACL 2% , APL 0,66% in arrange. This study show there is relation between pregnant age with repeated abortion , the highest abortion in age between 20-24 and this reduce when the age become increase. Conclusion: This study also provide the abortion happen in first trimester of pregnancy and then reduce in second and third trimester of pregnancy.
