ANALISIS PERBANDINGAN PENGIRIMAN BARANG MENGGUNAKAN METODE NORTH WEST CORNER DAN LEAST COST (STUDI KASUS: PT. COCA COLA AMATIL INDONESIA SURABAYA)

Delivery of goods in PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Surabaya does not take into account the transportation problems in terms of distance and load commodity shipping its products to multiple destinations using the method of transport, but PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Surabaya still uses a count based on the direction of delivery channels that can be taken in the direction of the delivery staff. The purpose of this study was to determine the completion of delivery of the goods using the North West Corner and Least Cost. This research was conducted at PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia, Rungkut, Surabaya with the subject of production of PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Surabaya and objects are points of distribution of products from PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Surabaya. This research is a qualitative descriptive study for more research data regarding the interpretation of the data found in the field. Data collection techniques derived from the study of literature interview and observation. Then the data were analyzed by reducing, present, and draw conclusions. From these results, it can be concluded that the existence of the North West Corner application method and Least Cost on a delivery of goods produced by PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Surabaya will help the company especially the delivery of goods in the delivery route for determining using the North West Corner and Least Cost can calculate the lowest transport costs from the warehouse (depot) to the destination. In addition, between the two methods used in this study calculations using Least Cost method would be more appropriate for the calculation of these methods are based on the lowest cost of the total load on each trip from one storage (depot) to the destination.
