Abstract

The paper is about different linguistic features of TV news in Japan and Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It includes comparative analysis of linguistic features of Yakut and Japanese TV news what seems to be very important because television has a great influence not only social and cultural situation in society but also a lan- guage situation. The language of Mass Media is literary language that is why we review the literary Japanese and Yakut language. The materials of research are 40 news broadcasts of Tokyo Broadcasting System Television in Japanese and 40 news broadcasts of NBC “Sakha” in Sakha language. We divided TV news on 4 categories: politics, society, sport, economy and science
