PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA PADA MATA KULIAH METODE NUMERIK DENGAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF JIGSAW

Abstract
Based on the results of the evaluation in the course of numerical methods, the results of student learning mathematics education, faculty teacher and education science, Muhammadiyah University of Surabaya from 20 students who are studying 4 students or 22.2% complete learning and there are still 14 students or 78 , 2% unfinished study with mean of 44,87. According to the learner's opinion stated that the lecturing of the numerical method of the subject matter of the lecture is new and has a high difficulty level, the lecture system uses direct learning cause the learners feel bored and the challenge is very difficult, and the refenes of both online and hard copy materials do not support for mathematics numerical. Thus the need for learning models in addition to direct learning that is used so that learners are not bored and not difficult. In this case the researchers used the model of "Cooperative Jigsaw type" in the hope that learners can work with members to find entangled the interaction between learners who are learning actively on learners. Cooperative learning model is more emphasized on active learners so that students are not expected to feel bored and saturated during the learning process. And most importantly it is expected to be more active in the students. It also can foster an attitude of responsibility in each student self. Learning motivation to learn that will affect student learning outcomes
